FUTSAL WORLD CUP TOUR 2008
FIFA has just
announced the 2008 Futsal World Cup Dates: October 1–19. BFI
has designed a 12 Day Package that includes Futsal Training, games
and watching the FIFA WORLD CUP FUTASAL Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The
2008 edition of the FIFA Futsal World Championship
will be held October in Brazil. It will be the sixth World
Championship held under the aegis of football's world governing
body.
The venues are Nislon Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Arena Jaragua in
Jaragua do Sul and
Rio Olympic Arena
in
Rio de Janeiro.
The
opening ceremony will take place in Brasilia with the finals in Rio.
For the first time, 20 teams will join making this the largest
edition ever held.

Highlights
BFI
Futsal Tours emphasize training and playing. You will play four
games against youth professional teams (Botafogo, Zico, Flamengo and
Petropolis) some of which will be held at the home courts belonging
to the Brazilian soccer clubs Flamengo and Zico. You will have a
total of 8 training session with Professional Brazilian Futsal
Coaches and will watch 3 FUTSAL Games. In addition, our staff will provide you with outstanding sightseeing
and entertainment options from which to choose. We want you to have
the experience of a lifetime!

Flight arrives in
Rio de Janeiro around 10:00 am. Upon arrival, meet your 24-hour BFI
Tour Manager and board your private team bus. Team will be
transported to Hotel Mar Palace

de Janeiro and enjoy the rest of the day off.
Day 3

Morning at the
beach and optional tour in the afternoon to Zico Training Center.
Zico played for the Brazilian National Team in the 1978, 1982 and
1986 World Cups, and scored 52 goals in 72 matches for Brazil. He
was chosen 1983 Player of the Year and is considered one of the best
players in soccer history. Zico was Brazil's top scorer in the 1982
World Cup campaign, in a team considered one of the best Brazilian
National Squads ever. For more info visit:

Game #1, schedule permitting.
Day 4

Game #1 of the
tour will be played against the premier Botafogo de Futebol e
Regatas, Brazilian youth professional team. Botafogo is a
Professional Division I Club and has a very strong youth development
program. Botafogo has won several national championships, including
the Brazilian National League in 1995.
After the
afternoon game, players and coaches will choose from several
sight-seeing opportunities available.
Day 5

Game #2 of the
tour will be played today. Team will face Clube de Futebol Zico.

several sight-seeing opportunities available.
Day 6
>AM Beach Soccer
>PM: Visit Maracana Stadium Sight Seeing
>Meals: Breakfast
In the morning,
players will enjoy the beach in Copacabana have fun while training
Beach Soccer. At 1:00 pm players and coaches will head to the
Maracana Stadium - the biggest soccer stadium in the world to visit
it's museum and tour the stadium. (In the final of the 1950 World
Cup, more 220,000 people were at the Stadium watching Brazil Vs.
Uruguay).
Day 7
>Sight Seeing
>Sugar Loaf,
Corcovado (Crist)

seeing. The tour will include visits to Sugar Loaf, Christ, Rodrigo
de Freitas Lagoon, Ipanema and Copacabana Beach. In the afternoon,
watch FIFA World Cup Futsal Game #2, schedule permitting.

professional training session at Flamengo

Game #3 of the
tour will be played against C.R. Flamengo, Rio's top youth
professional team. Game should be difficult and players should be
prepared to experience another tough challenge. For more information

players and coaches will choose from several sight-seeing
opportunities available.
